This summer, we’re heading out around the UK with director, filmmaker and environmentalist Jack Harries, discovering the best wild adventures Britain has to offer.
For our second wild weekend, we hopped on a train and headed for a part of Sussex that feels wonderfully remote even though it’s only an hour from London. Resisting the rolling downs and stunning coastline the county is famous for, Jack pitched up at Wilderness Wood; an incredible community project created to help people live and learn in a different way. Any plans to explore further were swiftly scuppered once Jack settled into his new treehouse home and got to work in the woods.
See how he gets on in the video, and find guides and inspiration for your own wild weekends below.
